Anabat Training offers training courses designed to help ecological consultants, bat workers, and researchers make the most of the Analook software when undertaking bat call analysis.
Our Analook courses are developed and delivered by Dr Sandie Sowler who is an experienced ecological consultant, bat worker, trainer and Analook user. Sandie is now into her 12th year of delivering training in Analook for commercial consultancies.
Our dynamic courses are constantly updated as new equipment comes out and in order to meet the changing needs of professional ecologists.
Sandie offers bespoke courses and is happy to advise and quote to deliver appropriate training at your company’s offices, anywhere in the country. All course elements are regularly updated and amended to reflect new equipment, changes to software and new publications on bat acoustics.
But I don’t use Anabat detectors? The key is in your choice of analysis software – our courses are suitable for users of other bat detector systems who are undertaking bat call analysis using the free Analook software – such as Wildlife Acoustics’ Song Meter range (SM2BAT, SM3BAT, SMZC, or the new SM4BAT ZC) and Echo Meter range (EM3, EM3+, EM Touch), where data is recorded in zero-crossing format or converted using Kaleidoscope.
